Moreland Veterinary Hospital in Portland, OR is looking to add a full or part-time certified veterinary technician to our amazing team.
We are looking for dependable and flexible team players who are committed to excellent client service and exceptional patient care.
Your responsibilities:
- Small animal patient handling and restraint
- Anesthetic monitoring
- Assisting with surgery
- Dental extractions, x-rays, cleaning, and polishing
- Blood draws and IVC placement
- Client communication and education
- Pharmacy duties and lab work
- Administering vaccines and medications
- Outpatient procedures
Our benefits:
- Compensation: $21-$27/hour (BOE)
- Bonus package for FT: $2000
- CE for FT: $500 first year, $1000 every year after

Conveniently located off Milwaukie Ave, the Moreland team has been providing routine and emergency medical and surgical services to small animals in our community since 1998. Our four doctors are supported by a talented and support team with years of hands-on experience in the field. We’re guided by a culture-centered Medical Director and are proud to have excellent team longevity (seriously, we have multiple teammates who have worked here for 10-20 years!).
